This was a pretty good book, if a little too "It's a Wonderful Life." Harry still lived, of course, but it still felt very much like "this is what the world (and specifically Dresden's friends' lives) look like without Dresden."Molly in particular was heartbreaking. I still want to know what her Ome...
4,5A mix of classic phantom+noir story--> find your own killer.Love the trek and tolkien's mentions. More dark and bitter that others; I really feel bad for Murphy.More bubbling thoughts about this book maybe later.
I loved it, as I love all the Dresden Files. I have to admit, I was worried after the ending of the last book... seriously worried. There was still the tongue in cheek humor that I love from the series, and of coarse the main character, Harry. Even as a ghost, he still packs a punch and cracks me...
Harry's not dead! Mab has been keeping his body alive on a small island in Lake Michigan while his soul goes on a little adventure.Harry has a lot of regrets over his actions at the end of "Changes" - he realizes that he's crossed lines into places he swore he'd never go to save his daughter and tha...
Can you say ambivalent?? I think your can. That's how I feel about this book. I had to think about it awhile before deciding to give it 4 stars. I seriously considered 3, but there were enough things that finally felt right about it to go the extra star. A non-corporeal Harry was definitely a w...

I didn't have any problems with the story format, probably because I'm an urban fantasy fan, not a mys...
I really enjoyed the Dresden series earlier, but Changes and now Ghost Story have turned me into a fangirl! I love what Butcher does with his characters and with the world he's created.
I laughed. I cried. It was fantastic. It lived up to my high expectations of the series and as a follow up to "Changes." I can't wait for the next one. All in all, well done Mr. Butcher.
