It detailed what happened in an age appropriate way which captures all students attention and keeps them wanting to read more. My CT from last ...

3.0 I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic
The 8-year-old I watch has this book. I read it while she did her math homework. She told me that she likes the series and that all the main characters are boys (in the ones she's read). 5.0 3rd grade
My Ct has her class reading this book set. There are several books with in the set on how people survived this event with in lit circles. I would use this books in 4th grade not 3rd grade due to some of the figurative language.

Eh. Without being plot points I've encountered elsewhere, it felt already-done. It also felt written to a much easier level than most of the Battle of the Books books, so recommended for reluctant readers, because it whips along quite fast.Library book.
