I loved If I Stay . It was the first book by Gayle Forman that I’d read and it was amazing to say the least. I loved Mia’s character and her relationship with her family, friends, and Adam. I was so emotional throughout this book and was desperately waiting to see how it would all end. If I was Mi...

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what s...

Overrated. Boring in most parts, I can't stand flashbacks ALL the time. Did I cry? Errr, far from it, although I did get teary-eyed from bore sometimes.

My review: 4/5 starsMy views on this book are somewhat conflicted. The notion that we have some choice in whether we live or die is an interesting premise and this book was hard to put down, but I think I loved the idea of the story more than the story itself.Mia, a gifted cellist, is lying...

A very touching read. I loved Mia's Character and found her very like able. I love how she is so into music she and I have that in common which is awesome. A lot of the story is told through flashbacks which I am glad, I don't think we would get enough out of the Mia character without knowing mor...

I wanted to cry from the sorrow. I wanted to cry because of these books. It wasn't... because of Mia. Mia is that type of character, who is unlovely for me. She loves music as nobody/nothing else. I couldn't believe that Mia loves Adam, but I believed that Mia loves (only) music... I loved Adam...

Like City of Bones, this was a book I chose to read after seeing a movie preview. Maybe that's a poor choice to make, but whenever I see a movie, I can't help but think "It must be pretty good if they're making a movie adaptation." The problem is that this creates a pretty high bar, and it's difficu...

I was kind of disappointed with this one. I was expecting a weepy that would make me go through a whole box of tissues. I don't think I even used one. There were a few scenes that made me quite teary. I just didn't feel it. There were things about it I liked, there were things I didn't like. The...
