ربما نتفق أو نختلف علي أحداث الرواية لكن لا يمكن أن نختلف علي مدي جمال الصور الفنية ومدي العبقرية الروائية في الكتابة التي أتحفنا بها الكاتب والتي استطاع المترجم أن ينقلها بأمانة لنا إلي حد كبير ، قرأت هذه الرواية ثلاث مرات ،مرتين منهم قبل فوزه بجائزة نوبل
