In this story the essential being is written IO-IYO. Iyo is a paleolithic shaman/huntress who performed key ‘magic’ acts 30,000 years ago.
Around 2100 AD certain Poorly Advised Humans (PAHs) sought psychoactive weapons to control the world and destroy defined enemies. In so doing they brought to life entities they could not control. In order to gain better insight they offered freedom to socially expendable material - psychotherapists, artists, anarchists and socialist revolutionaries - not mentioning that their unfinished planet-seeking ship, The Spirit Of London, was fitted with the most fundamental form of psychoactive weaponry.
These science-based PAHs refused to believe that what they sought as a weapon was the seed of all being in its active form, IO-IYO herself. Iyo, a mother of seven and godmother to the greatest ever shamanistic circus, performed extraordinary feats in pre-history (the scar of one still visible as Gelb er Richat). Brought back from the infinite into the living nightmare of the modern world, what will she do this time to the human race?
