In London, Scarlett doesn't find the peace and quiet she's been craving, but a whole host...

As far as I am concerned, Jenn McKinlay is an absolute genius and she's outdone herself with this series debut. I don't recall another series with a millinery shop since Barbara Jaye Wilson's series, and to put it on Portobello Road, was, again, sheer genius. And there's a maybe-ghost! Love, love, l...

Nice start to a cozy mystery series. Likable characters and setting.

I couldn't put this down. The characters were cute and the setting was really nice too. I loved the side characters Andre and Nick. They look like they could be a lot of fun.The reasons why for the murder were kind of lame. I think I wanted it to be a bit more beefy than what it was. But whatever. I...

Have I said before that I love Jenn McKinlay's books?? Probably a time or 2! The only misstep she's had is with her Good-Buy Girls books which she writes under the Josie Belle name...so I guess that's a case of a pseudonym being a good thing! IMHO, that series is pretty awful! Anyway, this is th...

As stated elsewhere, I have six wonderful Goldy Bear series books waiting for me to read so I don't have to time to dedicate a full review to this book, unfortunately because this was a really good book. When I first started this book, I didn't think I would like it very much. Not because it was a b...

Usually I save my 5 star ratings for cozies that are a joy to read *and* offer something a bit different - unique (or not often used) plot devices, a deeper level of writing, really creative twists or settings. Cloche and Dagger didn't really offer any of these pluses, but it was such an outstanding...

This is really not my cupcake. It´s a nice fluffy story, but I don´t know... I tried to read forward for monthsnow, but this book doesn´t get me hooked like the Library Lovers-series. I could forsee things & characters too easily (and I have to admit, Christie is a b****, you just have to hate her)....

Cute cozy with likable characters and yummy cupcakes but I thought there was some loose ends left over of the mystery. Could be because I'm battling a cold and my brain is a little oxygen deprived.

This series is hands down one of my very favorite cozy series. Jenn McKinlay is an excellent writer and she has made the characters in these books come alive. They grow and you learn things about them in every new book. However, I am not thrilled with the possibility of a romantic "triangle" gett...
