Overall, this story arc is really great. It's tough to get through the first book where Batman faces off against Dracula. But from there on out it's a whirlwind of bloody brutality, and Batman always finds himself in the center of it. Loved this comic. Must-read for all horror fans that are also Bat...

A big turnaround after the so-so Batman v. Dracula epic. Batman turning into a vampire is a very relevant storyline to surround his character with. Though when you do so, you also put limitations on what you can do for a long time which leads to the eventual end of this story arc. Loved it.

Fantastic. This is a Batman story for the horror nerds out there. Batman is evil, or is he?

The first story in this volume has more of what I've come to expect from Morrison: fascinating, over the top weirdness with a weak storyline. Danny the Street is fantastic, though, and I'd love to see more of him. The second storyline is rather more coherent, featuring Rhea's Jean Grey-esque (why ye...

Weaker Sandman effort about Lucifer's abdication with a lot of padding in the middle that is ultimately saved by a stellar ending. This is especially true when you compare it to volume 3. I toyed with four stars but just couldn't quite get there.

Re-read for Mark Reads, 2012. I'm loving the re-colored editions, although the art in this volume is not my favorite.

Great story, but there weren't any zombies like there should have been lol. Really enjoyed this though.

No bearded cats, but the Choronzon creeped me the hell out when she wrapped up some dude in her spider-web seduction... BLECK!
