""Asi somos nosotros"", le dijo su padre en el rapido lenguaje que los otros no comprendian. A los otros les sonaba como un murmullo o un silbido. Era su lengua secreta, pues eran capaces de oir unas silabas pronunciadas rapidamente que los otros no captaban. Ambos se comunicaban por medio de ese lenguaje.

I liked it better than The Witching Hour. The book tolds Julien's and Lasher's story and we get to know Mona.
This book -and a lot of Anne Rice's books, to be honest- sounds like it would be right up my alley, but there is just something about Anne Rice's writing style that I can't get into.
