What can be said about this book that hasn't already been said? It's a wonderful, classic tale of an imaginary world, with elves and fauns and nyads and dryads and an evil witch, not to mention a heroic lion. Great fun.
I really loved this book. I first heard it in the second grade, and it was because of this book that I was determined to learn to read. I later read it for myself and will always cherish it.
I first read this when I was 12 and I remember being shocked at the ending. I mean, after years being in Narnia as kings and queens, they went back to England with no time passed at all! Needless to say, this made me read he entire Chronicles of Narnia and this is the best of the lot.

Well I wrote a review for this and it disappeared. Gotta love it. I enjoyed the movie tremendously and needing to read this entire series for a challenge, thought I'd start with the first one even though I'd already seen the movie and knew what was going to happen. I loved all the talking animals ...
