The first full length adventure of Makenna Fraser is sure to be one of the most enjoyable books of 2015. Shearin has made imminent death and destruction a whole lot of fun. Mac is the seer for the New York office of Supernatural Protections & Investigations, a small town girl who moved to New York...

This novella was a short but jolly ride with one of my favorite fantasy characters, Raine Benares, an honest red-headed elf and a magical seeker from a family of thieves and pirates. It’s a prequel to the author’s series about Raine, although the novella was published only recently, after all the ot...

Two of the authors in this book is what pulled me in. I love reading Ms. Singh and authors Ilona Andrews. In Ms. Singh's story, Secrets at Midnight, Bastien finds his mate. Mercy's brother is now finally going to find the one who makes his heart fill with love and create the bond he's been lookin...

Night Shift by Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews, Milla Vane, and Lisa Shearin New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh delivers a smoldering story with Secrets at Midnight, as the scent of Bastien Smith’s elusive lover ignites a possessiveness in him that’s as feral as it is ecstatic. And now th...

Being a rabid Ilona Andrews fan I preordered Night Shift the moment it hit preorder status. I adore anthologies, and with both Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews as listed authors, I was so excited to receive it. There were two other authors in the anthology, Lisa Shearin and Milla Vane, neither of whic...

Makenna Fraser is a newbie at SPI New York and the only seer in the U.S. Although she is human, she has the ability to see through all veils and illusions, allowing her to know a being's true, hidden nature. With an unknown group of vicious monsters straight out of literature ready to slaughter the ...

This was a solid 4/5. I enjoyed all of the stories quite a bit.Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews are pretty much auto-buy authors for me. The Dali/Jim story and Bastien story did not disappoint.I hadn't read anything by Lisa Shearin before, but I enjoyed "Lucky Charms" enough that I will purchase the...

This was an uneven anthology of novellas, which is a pity, because one of them was very, very good. Three of my favourite authors were included, so I needed to get my hands on this asap. ~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~´*`~ Nalini Singh's Secrets at Midnight Though I love Nal...

I only read the Nalini Singh and the Ilona Andrews stories. I may go back to read the other two later in the month, but I have others that are in queue first. The ratings are for the 2 I read.
Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories
2 of my favorite series followed by 2 offerings by authors new to me, overall a great blend of urban fantasy tales that combined action with humor in an enticing and engaging group of stories.
