What a classic. I'm sure I read this before when I was younger; but, if I did, then I had forgotten what a great book it was.

I loved the insights this book gave and how it showed all the hardships so many people went through during that era. I fell in love with the characters and the plot.

A classic children's book that most girls would enjoy. I was not the typical girl, so Jo really appealed to me as a character.

Love this book. Sad about the "choice" made in the end but I completely understand, now that I am older. 15 when I first read this book now I am 30.

For years, this was my favourite book. I think it was because there were four sisters and I had two younger sisters. I always loved Jo and thought Laurie was the best. I didn't understand when I was young why Jo never married Laurie. I couldn't stand most of Jo's sisters.

I absolutely cannot read this again or it will be ruined from my 10-year-old remembrance of it. I really don't want that to happen. You need to be a bit naive yourself to truly appreciate the nunnish thoughts and adventures of 4 perfectly innocent preteens and teenagers of the 1860s. I remember read...
