Really loving these books. Can't believe how different they are from the TV show True Blue. It doesn't take away the enjoyment of either though. In this we find Sookie being summoned to Dallas to help find a missing vampire, as she can read there minds but Sookie barters with the head vampire makin...

A good read, not my favourite. I'd say this is the book that most definitely declares this series "not a cozy". Not that I think Ms. Harris ever intended it to be, but booksellers, I think, assumed it would be when the first book came out.

This book put me in a better mood after a rather bad day: I laughed out loud over at least one part near the end. Think pink. :)

4/11/11 ** Enjoyed it; would recommend to others who like Twilight or the Laurel Hamilton books. I've also requested the third in the series. Think of it like cotton candy - good escapism, doesn't really push your thinking.

3rd time with this book, this time by audiobook. Okay, I've majorly jumped off the Team Bill bandwagon. I loved him and Sookie together the first two times I read the books. But going through the series again, I'm noticing he's not really good for her. He loves her, he wants to be with her. But...
Muddled, Mystified & Marvelous Musings
Sookie ends up way over her head dealing with vampires, werewolves, and fanatics who want to end the existence of all supernatural beings.

I greatly enjoyed the second installment of Sookie Stackhouse and look forward to reading more. This was entertaining and action-filled with further elaboration on characters such as Sookie, Bill and Eric. As per the first novel, I enjoyed the relationship between Sookie and Bill. I liked the fact t...

I just finished this one on my Kindle. I am really coming to like Sookie. She's not portrayed as perfect by any stretch of the word, and although she's very confident, she also has her moments of self-doubts and fears. Eric is... a cocky s.o.b. but a fun one. And Bill... I loved the revelation at...

A less than twenty-four hour read, the only time I put this book down was when I was literally too tired to make out the words. I guess that means it was good. As I mentioned in my review of "Dead Until Dark," these books are like Nancy Drew books to me. I read through this one quickly, trying to fi...

**Plot/Summary** This book opens with Sookie Stackhouse finding the dead body of Lafayette in the backseat of Andy Bellefleur's car, which had been left at Merlotte's the night before. Sookie learns that her friend had recently attended a local sex party. She thinks the members of that group might k...
