This book was amazingly better than the first. I loved the flirting between Eric and Sookie and think they have more chemistry than she does with Bill! Eric is funny and sexy! This was a fun, fast-paced read with the right dose of mystery. I really enjoyed learning more about Bill's past in this one...

Good grief...it's easy to get hooked on these books isn't it? I finished this one last night and went to the store to buy the next two in the series today. This one was as good as the first. I did think the dual storyline was a bit much. One was introduced at the beginning and not picked up again ...

I just love Sookie Stackhouse. She just seems like a person you'd want to get to know.

I managed to actually bloody myself (!) by biting the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing out loud when listening to this one while I was at work:) This was much funnier than the first one and IMO less romantic oriented. However, I absolutely enjoyed it and had a hard time keeping my giggles qu...

I watched the true blood series on HBO demand so I had to read the books... lots of changes - both were good.
Titles are so hard to come up with...
Better than the first, possibly because I was used to the writing style by then... Lots of fun.

So after thinking the first one was “meh” my expectations for book 2 in the series were not high at all. I’m glad I did not stop at one though because book 2 was much better and funnier. In this one Sookie has to make good on her promise to Eric. As a result she finds herself on a trip to Dallas to ...
