I wanted to give all 5 stars for Lover At Last, but once I finished the book I re-read it again and five more times after that still feeling off. I was ecstatic to finally see B&Q get their happy ending but the book itself really didn't even seem to be about them 98% of the time. This book came acro...

Full disclosure: There was no way I would get the whole giant multi-plot book read in the time allotted before it had to go back to the library, so I only read the Blay/Qhuinn/Layla plot, skipping everything else. And that was the best decision I ever made when reading a BDB book. The rating above i...

I have always loved the BDB books. They are among my favorites. I have to Say that this one was a little disappointing. I was excited for B and Q to finally have their story. It was a long time coming. I really enjoyed theirStory. I have rooted for them all along. I would have given the book a high...

I've been on the fence about forgiving Ward for the debacle that was V's book, so while I've read each of the books in the series I haven't been OMG it's a BDB book. Especially regarding this book. Because I've never been on the Qhuay band-wagon I had no expectations for this book. That being said o...

Well she did it! She totally went there with the m/m romance. There was no use your imagination- she totally went all the way there! It took a bit to get used to, but huge thumbs up to Ward for giving it her all. When you read a Ward book it's expected that a ton of slang will be thrown in-this is ...

Too many point-of-views in one book for my tastes, but otherwise enjoyable. Four stars given within this book's genre, not out of all the books I've ever read, since that would hardly be fair. I was looking for larger than life emotion, fast paced plot, excitement and entertainment and all that I go...

I've been less than thrilled with some books in this series before, but I've always found them compulsive reading. This one I picked up and put down for days, if not weeks. Pretty much every one of the 500 subplots/secondary romances earned a big I DON'T GIVE A ****! from me; they all felt so contr...

After page 160 I could no longer read this straight through. I skipped around, reading only Quinn, Blay, and Layla. Then I went back and read most of the rest. This is probably my last BDB, Blay & Quinn were better than okay but the rest are same old same old day old.

Those of us who are stead fast fans of the Black Dagger Brotherhood have been waiting for this book since we noticed the first spark between Blay and Qhuinn. Every moment of denial about their true feelings has been pure torture. Thank goodness they finally get their turn. That's not to say that thi...
