A good book, yet not as good as the first one. Let's see if I can break down my take on this instalment of The Dresden Files succinctly. Plot: Predictable, yet engaging, in true P.I. mystery fashion. Not that I saw every twist and turn coming, but I did spot most of them. This doesn't need to be a ...

There's really no point coming up with a punny title for this post, is there? Fool Moon (The Dresden Files, #2) by Jim Butcher It's been months since Harry Dresden, professional wizard, went up against a psychotic sorcerer (Storm Front), and life hasn't gotten much better. Since that little escapade...

Harry Dresden is and always will be one of my favourite characters, and Jim Butcher one of my favourite writers. FOOL MOON just confirmed that for me. :)

Another good novel by Mr Butcher. Our protagonist's whining does get on one's nerves sometimes (yes, we get it, no one trusts you and you can't tell anyone anything or they will get killed. Really?!?!).Still, a fun and quick read!

~~This is a review for the audiobook~~I just love Harry Dresden "the pompous arrogant pretentious chauvinistic hopelessly old fashioned stupidly pig headed..." (as Murphy likes to say)And for a powerful wizard he's a bit slow and figures out stuff late but not too late to be able to save the day. I ...
