Lovelorn Kismet Knight learns that becoming a psychologist to the vamps can be hazardous as well as extremely rewarding. This was one of those bipolar books in which the things I liked I really liked, and the things I hated I *really* hated. The book got off to a great start. The heroine is likeable...

Not very good, maybe 1.5 stars. Definitely a different kind of vampire culture than I've seen before, but not good enough to redeem the book. The main character was very cold blooded except when facing the "overwhelming" arousal of being near any hot male, which got pretty tiresome after a while. ...

2.5 starsBlehhhh. Review to come, but there's nothing new here. Same old story, same old characters. I'm sadly disappointed - this had the potential to be like Interview With A Vampire, but, you, know, good. With introspection into the state of vampirism without being so blindingly boring.

(Good - the story itself deserves the extra effort by Ms. Hilburn.)And I can see the Vampire Shrink ...

They weren't kidding when they said Mammoth Book. SO many authors I like are in this book. I find it interesting they are all females. The one that really stuck out for me was Holly Lisle's Light Through Fog. This one was the one that moved me most. I could say it upset me the most because I wa...

Before I start on the review, here is my heartfelt plea to Quercus!Guys, honestly, the cover is atrocious - fake blood and peroxide-burnt hair? What were you thinking?!! It hurt my eyes. This is how you imagined delicious Devereux with his lustrous long hair the colour of moonlight? Like Curt Cobain...

A strong 3.5 stars. I liked the majority of the stories in this one. My favorites: Kelley Armstrong, Eve Silver, Meljean Brook, and Anya Bast
