I have to say, if you've grown up with the movie, reading the book is odd! Mary Poppins is extremely short-tempered and bossy. It's somewhat off-putting!

The original stories that led to the Disney movie. Very cute and fun but don't expect to read the movie in these books.

I loved the twins. And then years later, I read Thornton Wilders' Infancy. A great minds thinking alike sort of deal.And I'm still disappointed that the twins were left out of the disney movie.
