The second book to the Firebringer Trilogy didnt let me down, in fact it exceeded expectations! The book is written by Meredeth Ann Pierce and I have got to say she enthralled me with her veiw on the lives lived as a unicorn. If you are reading this now don't ride this off as a childrens fairy tale;...

This is rather good standard quest for life fare, except for one thing that raised the ick factor for me.Having an affair with the boy you raised, even if he is magical being.I mean we wouldn't be good if the genders were reversed.

Gorgeous original fairy tale loosed based on Demeter and Persephone. I wish Hannah were not quite so dumb.

A different look at Vampires. The problems with this book are it's too small and it's a part of a trilogy. But it is an okay/good book with a different look on vampires.

It was about the power of love and sacrifice, and all that sappy stuff that I just love. I searched for this book for many years because I d...

I read this book maybe...twenty years ago? As a young adult, at least, early teens, and I remember being very struck by the dark feel of the world building and the challenges faced by the heroine. (Helped, probably, by the v dramatic looking cover!) I do recall thinking the Darkangel was so unapp...
