I swear it's a coincidence. I didn't set out to read two novels by Stephan King that come down to a main character immobilized in a bed for an extended period waiting for doom. By far one of the best Stephen King novels. A true literary masterpiece. How he keeps the tension going with just 2 characters is simply astonishing. I don't think I've ever seen the whole movie, but I've seen enough that I was completely shocked at how much more gruesome and frightening the book was. I couldn't stop reading it. Excellently paced and not at all dull despite the lack of chara...

This is possibly King at his best in the genre that he is best known for: horror.Nothing paranormal, nothing embarrassing. Shit that could actually happen.
