Cinderella smells a rat!
She's Fabletown's most fashionable -- and lethal -- secret agent. But even a living legend like Cinderella has a good reason to be scared of mice.
A new strain of human-rodent hybrid has surfaced and its members have launched a vicious assassination campaign against big-time Fable targets. Neither Fable nor Mundy, these terrifying creatures could be connected to the coachmen -- er, coachmice -- who originally whisked Cinderella away from her life of torment and drudgery into a whirlwind of glamour, magic, and adventure. But since that momentous night so long ago, Cindy's Fair Godmother has turned mad and murderous -- and her creepy-crawly creations may have followed suit.
Now Cinderella must track down the magical mastermind behind the marauding mice-men, with help (and, ahem, a little something more) from a certain tall, blue, and handsome acquaintance. But someone wicked is coming her way, carrying a lifelong grudge and a lot of firepower -- as well as the secret of the mice's true commander. Can Cindy squeak her way out of this one?
