Deuce’s whole world has changed. Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn’t fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight. To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out. Deuce signs up to serve in the summer patrols—those who make sure the planters can work the fields without danger. It should be routine, but things have been changing on the surface, just as they did below ground. The Freaks have grown smarter. They’re watching. Waiting. Planning. The monsters don’t intend to let Salvation survive, and it may take a girl like Deuce to turn back the tide.

I could argue its even worse since they have traditional gender roles and anyone who is outside that pro...
Follow Deuce and her friends as they fight the muties (which aren't exactly zombies) and look for a safe refuge. Have they found safety in Salvation or is this where they will end their days fighting an enemy that seems unbeatable? I don't want to give anything away. It's hard to review books in...
Due to me being sick, but still wanting to write a review I will just do a small good/bad review.Good:-Romance between Fade. Finally, took them long enough, though at around the ending (no spoilers) it saddened me. -The village and the description of it + history.-I loved how Deuce started calling t...
I liked this book a little less than Enclave. It started off slow. Life in Salvation and the love story bored me, but of course, we saw some action towards the end of the book. The setup for the last book in the series was really good, so I'm excited to read that one asap.
3.5 starsThis is a good book ~ just not as good as Enclave (Razorland #1).The action did not start till awhile into the book, from then on I would have rated it higher.
