"Parables for Life in the 21st Century" is the first book in a series of stories (they've been called modern Aesop fables) where each story concludes with a story moral, or life lesson, and then followed by illustrations of that life lesson in today's world. This book has 24 stories in it, with morals such as "Is it better to have it and not need it, or need it and not have it?; "Don't be afraid to accept success or challenge idleness"; "Life is NOT fair. Get over it, and get used to it." While some stories are targeted at adults, all stories are perfectly suitable for readers of all ages and stages of life.
