Why was this book so freaking long? I wanted to quit a bunch of times. The beginning wasn't that bad but somewhere after the first 40% it became this crazy over dramatic book.

I was swallowed by this book. Couldn't put it down, even if I tried. Unique storyline, but I was hoping for a little more. Still excellent though.

Wasn't at all what I was expecting. Started off great but then devolved into soap opera territory with too many side characters and competing plotlines to keep my interest. Writing isn't bad but just wasn't for me.
