The cast of characters brought this drama to life. I found myself longing to be a part of their unshakable family. While homeless, tormented Blake was finding happiness counting Livia's smiles, I was on the edge of my seat counting his.

This one took me a bit longer to read, but not from lack of interest in the story. A ton of RL things kept me busy. So much of this book wasn't at all what I was expecting & I did find a lot about this one that I really enjoyed. I'm holding off on my star rating until I figure out just where it fall...

Ok, more like 3.5 stars. I really enjoyed the story, but about a 1/3 of the way in it turned into a completely different type of book than what I expected. Loved Livia, Blake & Beckett! Hated Kyle, which made me indifferent to her part of the story. Sorry Cole, but she was crass and undeserving.

Okay, I have to say this because this book really irritated me. The premise of this book was great. The writing wasn't bad and the characters were interesting. However, the fact that the book read like a first draft really made me mad. Under normal circumstances, I could over look the bad grammar, m...

As reviewed on Read Our Lips:Blake is a homeless man spending his time by the train station, Livia commutes everyday. One day she stands up for him and from there a relationship blossoms. We also get to know Blakes brothers, not by blood, but by choice, Bennett and Cole, and Livia´s sister Kyle. Wha...

My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book...I knew Poughkeepsie would be a tough book for me to review when I was about halfway into it. Mostly because I felt that I need to talk about a lot of things but it’s simply not possible. I enjoyed the book a lot; lo...
