Great story, interesting, just not well written. I hope the second book does justice to the story.

One of my all time fave series. Highly recommend it.

The prequel to Silence of the Lambs. Was much more interesting to me than the sequel, with the story of the Tooth Fairy and his prospective victim. The movie version was really good as well (with the delightfully dreamy William Peterson as the hapless FBI agent), the Michael Mann version that is.

Hannibal is just a minor character here - it is really Will's story and his hunt against the Red Dragon. Well-written, good set up to Silence.
