This one the earlies Cook's book and one of the best in fact. The book tells a story of a doctor whose wife died of leukemia and now his daughter struggles with the same disease. The father, who is a doctor and a scientist at the same time desperately tries to find a cure but in the meantime discove...

Ugh, interesting story, utterly lacking characters, absolutely annoying main character.

Dream a little dream, Lesley. A exploratory quest of a 28-year old woman and her sexually liberated privileges in the BDSM clique at Florville. The vintage French risqué postcards adorning with naked buxom bodies posed on inviting divans, the ruffled bob hair cuts, laced corsets and pearls swaying...

"Seizure" handily debunks many of the myths about therapeutic cloning (as opposed to reproductive cloning), but the characters seem trite. First, there is Daniel. He's the egotistic MD/P...

It took all my willpower not to stop reading, and I only continued because I was waiting to see Jack and Laurie get into the action (I've read all of his other books with those characters up to this point). Unfortunately, that didn't happen until very late in the book...

work mp3. A précised 'ripped from tape quality' disaster. So 'urgh' for the delivery and 'meh' for the revolting storyline.

This was a bit different than many of the Robin Cook books I've read. While the supposed subject matter of the book was an illness suffered by Jack and Laurie Stapleton's newborn son, JJ, the book seemed to really be about a non-medical subject: A partial history of Christianity. While the plot w...

This is definitely NOT Robin Cook's best book. However, I did find it enjoyable enough. Even though it is a thick book, it seems to be missing some "meat." The topic seemed really interesting to me, I wish he had gone into more of the medical and sociological aspects of the medical tourism industry....

Another enjoyable read with two of my favorite characters from Robin Cook's novels - Dr. Laurie Montgomery and Dr. Jack Stapleton.
