I stayed up far too late last night watching the Rob Lowe miniseries adaptation and now I'm jonesing to read the book, despite chortling a bit over Rutger Hauer and Donald Sutherland's performances as an elderly gay vampire and his elderly human lover watchdog. What captured me were the voice overs ...
Like revisiting the pages of the monster magazines of my youth. The actions of the heroes at the end of the book, it seems to me, would only make matters worse, and not solve the problem at all.
