I think this is around a 3.5ish rating on reread. I mostly enjoyed it, but there were a few places Jack was overly caveman-controlling and Ella seemed to let it go as a joke or okay. Like when he said he'd have to kill Dane if she ever saw him again. WTF? She and Dane had been good friends for years...

Book one was amazing. Book two, I didn't really care for the female lead, but loved Hardy being back. Book 3 - OH, Jack - was really good. Overall, an excellent series. I was sad we didn't get a "Joe" book. So, for those of you who know how finicky I can be, make note: I rec this series!
