I was a little apprehensive about this book because I didn’t love Sugar Daddy and I couldn’t get into Blue-Eyed Devil. But I really enjoyed Smooth Talking Stranger. I think Jack is my favorite Travis. I know other people complained about Ella, and there were a few things that perturbed me, but overa...

Luke★★★★★ (Review of audiobook.) Good Gravy Beans, I LOVE this book. I’ve read it over a dozen times; so, of course, when the opportunity arose, I just had to do the “buddy read” of it with Jill (BTW, expect spoilers in that thread!). Since I had the brilliant idea of listening to the audiobooks ...

The best Travises book, by far. Even if you decide to skip the other two, or find them lacking in any way, you should definitely give this one a try. Either do that, or you'll be in danger of missing out on the greatest romance of the series. I have to admit, although I did like Smooth Talking Stran...

Absolutely fantastic. Possibly one of the best romance books I've read in a while. I even liked it better than the Travis Series Book 2, Blue-Eyed Devil, which is saying a lot. Fantastic characters. Jack Travis is definitely smooth, charming, and playful. Ella Varner is awesome, smart, strong-w...

This was one of my favorite themes reversed. Most of the time, it's the man-who-will-never-marry who falls head over heels for the girl, but in this case, it was the woman-who-would-never-marry who fell hard. And it was so sweet. In past books, Jack was a playboy -- dating beautiful women, but never ...

Miss Kleypas, are you reading my mind? How do you get me where I live emotionally so easily? I felt as though reading this book you had delved deeply inside my psyche, laying my issues out for me to examine in the context of a character with whom I found myself identifying very deeply. You see, I...

Jack is a millionaire Texan playboy. The biggest and best kind to have. Ella finds herself trying to care for her new nephew while her sister suffers a breakdown. Finding that the way she has faced her up-bringing with the help of Jack, she finds that she can be happy and loved. A nice story.

It was a good read with likeable characters that pulled you into the story. Not as good as the last book in the series, but very good. Can not wait for the next book from this author.
