(Audio review): Great performance by Lauren Fortgang; solid book. I felt the worldbuilding was weak at times, but overall the story was good and Gin was a kickass heroine. In a rare occurrence, however, I was not a fan of the hero. He was a judge-y jerk. I'm continuing with the series.
I really enjoyed some elements of this story like the background, the runes and the way she killed people...and the whole reluctant attraction. Sometimes there was just a little too much description for me though but i did like it.
This. This was not for me. Gin is boring to listen to. Blah blah blah my knives. Blah blah blah I'm emotionless. Blah blah blah i repeat things a thousand times. I thought this book was so promising especially with that awesome beginning, but no, just no.
