I have been a huge fan of Caitlin Kittredge's Nocturne City books and was thrilled when I saw she had a new series "Black London". I love the brit-talk and always have no problem sinking into her world(s) because her writing is so intriguing. She doesn't throw in unnecessary details as so many aut...

I read a lot of reviews of this book, all but one were glowing reviews. I've got to be honest, it was okay. Not great, not bad. Just okay. This was such a good read! I REALLY enjoyed the dialogue and the chemistry between Jack and Pete. What a wonderful surprise. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. Bad coever art, I guess, but what I thought would be a War for the Oaks rip-off was anything but. There were a few problems--a little over the top convolution over what was plaguing the London children, and a constant dropping the murder search t...
