My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

The cover is amazing and my favorite type of shifter cover with both beautiful beasts!

This is a standalone HEA shifter romance, but it does have some topics of child slavery and abuse.  It is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content.  It is about 175 pages long.

I really enjoyed the love/hate relationship with Dylan and Isabella.  The mixed shifter world mixed with some witchy magic makes for a very interesting read.  I think some of the Alpha attitudes needed a smack down, but they were Alphas.  Isabella is fierce, and I love how she kicks butt.  Dylan is interesting, and the dynamic between Alphas is tense to put it lightly.  Simon and Robin are interesting, and I think there is a story waiting to be written about them.  They definitely click!  I can’t wait to see was J.S. cooks up next!

I recommend this book to any shifter fan who loves a mixed paranormal world with Panthers, Wolves, Witches, and magic with an HEA ending!

The cover is awesome having both beasts on the cover!  Love it!

This is the 9^th book in the Jamesburg Shifters series.  It is about 115 pages long, and it is for adults only.  While it is not mandatory to read the series in order, I think you will definitely enjoy the story better if you know the history with Petunia and Jamesburg.

I learned things that I didn’t even know were possible in the world of Jamesburg prior to this book.  This is definitely a must read.  Mali and Jake are great characters, and I especially love Mali’s spunky personality.  Jake earned a special place in my heart taking care of Mali.  They definitely had an adventure that you don’t want to miss out on.  And just wait until Jake and Erik are together….funny!!! 

As always Lynn Red has quirky characters that are like real people and a funny sense of humor that always entertains.  I always enjoy Lynn’s work!

I recommend this book and series to any shifter fan who like quirky characters especially if you already love Lynn’s work!

This was a fun way to end this series and in my opinion, the best because Lux invested a solid amount of time exploring and developing Nick’s character. Brody was an excellent counterpoint for Nick but we didn’t really get a deep look at all of Brody-bummer. The little mystery could have been handled with more care but I guess this is all there is and the ending was abrupt if you ask me. I didn’t get why they did what they did. This was fun don’t get me wrong, I never looked away from the page and that’s a good thing. I’m wondering if Lux has it in her to become a stronger writer. This definitely gave me a hint that she could if…

The Protection of the Pack #4 is really part of #3. It is too aimless to stand alone. So I'll treat it as such.

This is number #2 in this series and the Pack has grown. It's messy, it's silly, fun and I'm lapping up the chronicles of these men. Lux continues to create a different kind of wolf world. The sex is not added as filler. It's a major part of the storyline and believe you me it's over-the-top and that's the way it's supposed to be. I really like the impact of Nick joining the pack.
