Andromeda's Reign by K. S. Haigwood

This one starts up where the last ended off. Very steamy at times and you really need to read the previous books to understand what's going on.

They have a bond, Ace and Andromeda although she as Nema loves Phoenix.  They must be together for each to survive and it's hard to fit Phoenix and Andromeda into it all. She must learn more about her powers and the bond with Ace and what's why she's in Vegas, with him and his clan.

She also learns of Ace's powers over her...

Lots of action, adventure and mystery as they try to find another witch to break the bond spell. More shifters and much more to learn about them and how they play with existing shifters.

Not really my genre but I like the style of writing as it's very descriptive.

I received this review book from the author and this is my honest opinion.

 

Mae Day - Anne Conley Enjoyable novella. With all novellas, the story is brief and sometimes character development suffers. For me, if Conley had cut back on the sex scenes (I can't believe I am even saying that) it would have given more 'page time' to developing the story. I think there were 4 sex scenes and in a novella, that takes up a lot of space.
I will forever remember this as the day I said there was too much sex....it doesn't happen often.

This is the 2^nd book in the series.  It is for adults only due to the content.  I definitely recommend reading this series in order because you will not know the back story if you don’t.

 

I listened to the audiobook while mowing the lawn.  The only time I can truly multitask.  I really love listening to audiobooks while I mow.  Mena and her wolf are definitely at odds with each and what each one wants.  There is a lot going on, and she has been swept into the whirlwind that is now her life.  Phoenix is definitely an Alpha male.  I really like the pack members who have been sticking close to Mena.  Bad things are happening, and I have no idea what will happen next.

 

I do own the next ebook in the series, and plan on reading it after I do some catching up.  I recommend this book to all the paranormal fans who love lots of action, drama, and conflict because this book has it all :)

Craze (Pierce Securities Book 1) - Anne ... Wow. Just wow. This book has some serious trigger warnings. But it was so freaking realistic. I told my husband it was like reading an episode of Criminal minds with a side of romance. I love Criminal minds BTW. Full review to come!

Quick read that holds your interest.
The main characters in this book are a stripper, an angel, and the devil. Something quite funny happened to me while I was reading this book. I was in the waiting room of my doctor's office waiting to be called back when a woman a little older than me asked what I was reading. Well I told her the name of it and she instantly looks it up on her phone. That's is when I notice she is where a shirt with WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) stamped on the front of it. OH SHIT! After reading the blurb for the book she gives the best 'oh, you are so going to hell look' I have ever seen. She then walked up to the window seperating the receptionist from the waiting area and tells the lady that she wants to cancel her appointment because she feels uncomfortable being around certain other patients in the waiting room...lol...I was the only one there. That being said some people may find this offensive.
