THE BACHELOR AUCTION by Rachel Van Dyken
The Bachelor Auction (The Bachelors of Arizona) - Rachel Van Dyken

Brock's grandfather wants him married and so arranges an auction to do it.  Grandfather is sly to get Brock to see it his way.  Jane is a cleaning company owner who Grandfather has hired to clean the family's ranch which Brock will get upon his marriage.  Sparks fly between Brock and Jane.

This is a cute, fun read.  I laughed.  I had a tear in my eye.  Mostly though, I had a good time reading it.  I enjoyed Brock and Jane.  I liked how the story went back and forth between the two of them.  I look forward to the rest of the series.  Perfect for the beach or porch as summer comes to a close.

A Millionaire at Midnight (Bachelor Auction) - Naima Simone

Morgan's best friend was  Khloe and her daughter Sinead was Morgan’s goddaughter. Morgan’s fiancee Troy had broken their engagement for her stepsister Cynthia. Morgan felt humiliated and stupid. Morgan was on her way to the Rhodonites Society annual Masquerade Bachelor Auction. Morgan was only going because her mother was forcing her to. Morgan had been the former untouchable darling of Boston’s social elite. The only good thing this round of parties and outings Morgan was able to Network for phoenix House- a non-profit organization that helped women fresh out of abusive relationships or homelessness in gaining a  solid footing in their lives. Morgan had started by writing a check then volunteering to passionate adversary. In the auction Morgan decided she wanted Bachelor # 9 there was something about him that was different. When she went to meet the bachelor she realized it was the same man who thought she was a gold digger. He looked coldly at Morgan his name was Alexander /Alex BIshop. Bishop Corporation was his family's business and where Alex was CEO. Her stepfather left everything to Cynthia including the building that housed Phoenix House. Morgan had  to get a  job which she had and work at it  for one year.  Then Morgan finds out that Alexander was her  new boss where she worked and she couldn't quit.  Phoenix house needed that building not to be sold. Then Morgan hears Alex needs a fake fiance Morgan goes to him and tells Alex she will act the part if he will buy the building the Phoenix House is in.  Alex was attracted to Morgan even if he didn’t like her Morgan felt the same way.

I liked this story. I felt bad for Morgan at first but things changed. I  loved how she was  heavily involved with her charity. I felt bad Alex had to hear Morgan let her temper get the better of her but he eventually got to know more of the real Morgan. I felt like I was there with Morgan and Alex and cheered them on. I also felt Alex's’ dad was a butt the way he made rules so Alex could take over the business and also how he treated his daughter. I loved that both Alex and Morgan stuck up for Alex’s sister. All and all a good read.  I loved  the characters and the ins and outs of the story as well as the plot. I recommend

ARC Review: A Millionaire at Midnight (Bachelor Auction) by Naima Simone

Take an ordinary, but beloved story. Spice it up with sass and elevated heat levels. What do you have? A Millionaire at Midnight? From the moment she opened her mouth in The Millionaire Makeover, Morgan made her presence known in a big way. Smart mouth, big heart, huge pocket book and a dirty mind. She helped Khloe navigate the rough terrain of heartbreak, now it's her turn. Not a run of the mill Cinderella, she has a personality that can be offensive until you get to know her, but behind the rough exterior lies the hope of acceptance and the pain of loss and betrayal. Now she needs that knight in shining armor to help her. Enter Alex who's no Prince Charming, but could use some rescuing of his own. Ms. Simone added her own brand of hearty sizzle to a sweet and turbulent romance. She proves she can do soft and sweet as well as she can hot and heavy.

Amazing read
A Millionaire at Midnight (Bachelor Auction) - Naima Simone

This is another installment of the bachelor auction series by Naima Simone that does not disappoint. This read was so hot, entertaining and wonderful. Alex and Morgan run into each other and do not like each other, but then they realize that the need to work, together both for work reasons and personal reasons. When they make a deal and decide to make sure it's a business only deal will it be or will someone end up getting hurt.

This was a great read and again Naima Simone keeps you wanting more and you don't want to put the book down.

The Bachelor Auction by Rachel Van Dyken
The Bachelor Auction (The Bachelors of Arizona) - Rachel Van Dyken

This was an adorable spin on a Cinderella romance. Jane was the perfect mix of Cinderalla and modern woman. She was introverted enough that I could easily relate to her hatred of going out on the town, but not so shy that she didn't stand up for herself when push came to shove. She even owns a cleaning company - a great modern twist on the theme - and loses a shoe along the way. The downside was Brock (I think). The hero was great. I loved him and his family, although they got a bit over the to towards the end. It was the names that did this book in for me. Even by the end I couldn't keep the brothers apart. All with similar names that start with B, and we meet them within pages of each other. The similar names just sort of merged into one giant Wellington son instead of one older brother and two younger twins. I made a cheat sheet half way through so I could keep them straight. I didn't like it. The story was a lot of fun. There were some sad moments as both Brock and Jane deal with their past and how it has changed the way they cope with the present. There are happy and laughing moments that I didn't want to see end. But the whole brother name thing just hung over it all. I'm hoping that book two helps to separate the brothers a little more for me because they were all a lot of fun and I really want to see how their separate lives all intertwine as they find their love. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*
