UnLove Me - Dawn Martens

Angel and Eden have known each other since they were kids. Eden has been abused by her father but tries to protect her sister Eden. Eventually she goes to the Angels Warriors MC for help. When she goes she finds her first love and childhood friend the president and Angel wants her back. I would have been mad if I didn’t have the trilogy as I do now hate cliffhangers for endings. But things seemed to go downhill with the second book. I just couldn’t finish it I felt bad as I did like the first book and I didn’t bother to read the third book as I felt I would not have been able to tie things together correctly.

I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

"UnLove Me" by Dawn Martens

My Thoughts...

What a trilogy read 'The Angels Warriors MC' series. It was such a pleasure to get three reads all in one read. This novel was wonderfully well written. I did find that to get the complete story you will have to read it in order. Book one ...'UnKiss Me' was of Eden's and Jasper's story. Book two...'UnTouch Me,' was of Lily and Vinny's and Book three 'UnBreak Me' was of Hilary and Mason's story. I loved how these the three stories intertwined with each other. Each one of these stories deals with a secrets that had been kept and handled. 'UnLove Me' is full of suspense, lies, infidelity, revenge, sexy steamy scenes along with all the drama,[dysfunctional family drama], mystery, misunderstandings, humor, and sadness that will keep you turning the pages till the end. It will not be hard to keep up with the three stories because the author will repeat some of the scenes from a previous book 1, 2, or 3. I will say I liked that for the most part of the stories being repeated as the story in that particular part of the book will flow and intertwine very well into the rest of the story.

All six of these main characters were quite some individuals with some being wilder and even living some real crazy lives but considering that this is a motorcycle group story, I guess that would be expected. Along with the characters being well developed, portrayed and somewhat believable the reader will get ones one intriguing story after it all said and done. Now, I will say be ready for a read that is 'brutally violent, abusive, emotional and downright hard to read at times,' but if you can get passed all of that and continue on to the very end of this story, one will find you have one heck of a good trilogy that I would recommend to you.

This book was provided as an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

UnKiss Me
UnKiss Me - Dawn Martens This is the story of Jasper and Eden, who fell in love while growing up together. The gist of their story? Nothing more than a series of misunderstandings and lies through out - whether by minor characters, or the two main characters themselves - which causes continuing separation between the two. At one point they each say to each other "no more lies" while each of them KNOWS they are keeping a secret from the other. The reader knows his secret, but we aren't told what hers is - though I had it pretty much figured out (but I'll admit, not completely). All the lies by all the characters frustrated me as a reader, and made me not like much of anyone in the story at all.

The pacing of the story was also off a bit as well; it just didn't flow well. The emotions in scenes went from one extreme to the other. I also had a hard time keeping up with the supporting characters - there were two other males and two other females that the main couple grew up with, and they were all in relationships. All the men are now in an MC so you were told their real names, and their biker names - and I could never keep up with who was who. And which female was dating which male.

I wanted to like it but it just didn't work for me.

Renegade Lady
Renegade Lady - Dawn Martens,Emily Minton I read the books back to back so I'm going to try not to mix the reviews to go with my very mixed feelings about these books ..

Jenna's mother dies at 16 and she goes to her father who is a member of a MC club. When she arrives she is held against her will and her father gives her to the the President son , "Timmons" as his Ol'Lady after she has already been raped and beat by him. A member of the head Renegade MC group " Chipper" from another area comes to check on this charter because of things going on there finds Jenna being raped by two men and sees the condition she's in and her young age . He kills one, beats the other and takes Jenna back, and makes her part of his and his Ol'Lady's family.

Things in this book get a little iffy for me in this story because most clubs don't keep secrets from each other. Brothers are suppose to trust each other. I can see Jenna keeping secrets out of fear but the club President not letting Chipper tell the whole story at the meeting about finding Jenna being raped that it was "two men and one was the Presidents son" because both Presidents were friends who started the club. Chipper is the VP but still. One of the MC's strictest rules is "No Touching and or raping women especially Under 18" This bad charter is on drugs, raping, beating and kidnapping minors etc and seems like except in a vague way is never dealt with in the book.. It is really never addressed except in a vague way.

Now we have Kidd who falls for Jenna before she's 18 but does follow the rules. Of course he doesn't realize his feelings fully because shes young and he tries to avoid them. Jenna has been crazy about him at first site. When informed of her feelings and realizing his own she is still not 18 but thinks it's ok to move another woman into his room at the club and throw other women in her face until she's 18 and that will be okdie dokie with her. On her 18th he shows up and claims her, gets a phone call about the girl he used and dumped and takes off. She finds out the girl was in an accident an dies so she goes to find and comfort him and he blames her. Each encounter ends up with him being a jerk so finally Jenna is done.

Now for " 6 YEARS" Yes that's what I said.

She has to make a decision to be an Ol'lady or whore or leave the club " this is how you treat family?" Although they try to make whoring easy on her..nice guys. Anyway by the time Jenna is now known as Ice. She's hard and dangerous. Runs the whores for the club.

You have to read the story for the details in between the things I'm throwing your way. Kidd has been President for most of these 6 years. He has also been madly in love with Jenna/Ice.

Club President/ Strong ..dangerous..killer/watching the women he loves turn into club whore and screwing all his brothers for 6 years/ sorry that part strains my belief system.

I did enjoy the book. I love MC's I am not a fan of cheating so this one isn't one of my favorites but I'm not going to low rate it for that. I loved the side characters. Reese, Timbor, Chipper, Daisy and especially Mindy.
