Mon Aug 3: 13,364 steps + DailyBurn Stability and Mobility for 26 mins 497 cals

Tue Aug 4: 15,559 steps - Walked at zoo with friend after work

Wed Aug 5: 12,849 steps + Horseback riding for 30 mins 282 cals

Thu Aug 6: 1,410 steps

Fri Aug 7: 513 steps

This has not been a good week for me fitness or otherwise. I was riding my horse on Wednesday and got thrown pretty hard. I knocked the wind out of my lungs and my back is very bruised. It is one of the worst falls I've ever had off a horse. Needless to say, I haven't been doing much since then. I'm finally getting to were I can walk mostly normal again. As if that wasn't enough, my FitBit is dying again. It will only hold a charge for about a day. I'm thinking about biting the bullet and getting a HR. I don't want to spend the money, but I'm tired of fighting with getting my FitBit breaking every six months or so.

I'm going to slowly start walking again and then move up to adding DailyBurn back. It will be at least another week before I can ride again. My back will have to be 100% before I will chance it.

I continue to work and track my calories. Last week I lost some weight, this week I gained. I'm not sure exactly why, there was no increase in my caloric intake. I'm thinking it might be time to go see a dietitian. What I'm doing is obviously not working.

I'm loving the treadmill desk at work. I'm usually on it for an hour a day. I was really excited to get to do so much riding this week. I gave the horses off today. I'll be back at it tomorrow. I'm also really excited that I've lost 0.6 pounds. I've been having issues not losing, even with the extra exercise and tracking calories. Glad to see it finally coming off, even in small doses. :-)

#FitReaders April 2015

I'm getting back on this bandwagon. This has not been a great year for me. I was sick for most of January. I had the death of one of my horses (my first horse and a friend of 22 years) in February. I had a project at work that ate up all my time and energy in March. All of that is now behind me and I'm hoping that I can get myself back into gear in April.

I've signed up for DailyBurn, so I will be doing that several days a week. I will also be doing some walking, but at the moment, I'm having issues with my FitBit. I might need a new one, but that was an expense I was not expecting. :-( I also hope that by the end of the month, I will be riding my horse, but that is weather dependent. Right now, it is too muddy.

4/3 - Well, my Fitbit is dead. Support is wonderful and sending me a new one. I hope it gets here soon.

4/30 -  Doing really well with Daily Burn. Still not loosing much weight, maybe a pound and half. I'm noticing a small change in my jeans, but not much. I'm going to keep working. With Daily Burn the exercises do get more difficult and burn more calories as you work through it.
