One kiss could be the last.
Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.
Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.
Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.
But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

Ah! Seriously? It’s over? Why? I want more!
I am not kidding when I say that this has to be one of my ALL TIME favorites by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I am a huge fan of her books and love them all, but this one is just… Argh! AMAZING! I knew it was going to be awesome after reading
BITTER SWEET LOVE (free on amazon), but I didn’t know HOW AWESOME it was going to be.
I have fallen in love all over again with one of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s characters and have forgotten all about the others. Which character am I talking about? That would be Roth! If we’re going to start choosing teams, I am team Roth all the way! I was worried about a love triangle, but to be completely honest it didn’t really feel like one to me. I get Layla’s attraction to Zayne, but their relationship felt more like a brother and sister/best friend relationship to me. It wasn’t until near the end that I got the feeling Zayne might just crave Layla in a romantic way. I can see a love triangle (Gosh I hope not) developing in book two, but I have a feeling that Roth is going to be EVERYONE’S favorite. And if he isn’t then I am going to assume we did not read the same book. LOL!
Oh, I cannot forget Roth’s tattoos. HILARIOUS, but KICK-ASS! You have to read to know what I am talking about.
I guess it’s obvious what I loved most about WHITE HOT KISS. The romance! Don’t get me wrong, the plot was interesting, and I was entertained from the beginning to the end. But I am a romance junkie and was way more interested in finding out what would happen to Layla and Roth. Armentrout has completely swept me off my feet and placed me on cloud nine.
I finished WHITE HOT KISS late last night, went to bed with it on my mind, and woke up with it on my mind. It was such a great story! And I am so happy that I held off reading it until release week because by now I am sure everyone has read it and we can all talk about the AWESOMENESS of this book. If you’ve already read it and devoured it, leave a comment below. I am dying to know what everyone thought about it!
