Spring's Fury (The Graistan Chronicles, #3)
Spring's Fury - Denise Domning

Disclaimer: Some Snark and Gifs + language.

I liked Nicola. She's strong, independent, flawed, tall, not considered a classic beauty. Thinks she's ugly, but not tortured about it.

Mapcap Romance
The Bridesmaid - Julia London
Jinxed - Beth Ciotta
On the Scent - Angela Campbell
Charmed - Beth Ciotta
The Chocolate Thief - Laura Florand
The Deed - Lynsay Sands
Tall Dark and Cajun - Sandra Hill
Manhunting - Jennifer Crusie
Lady Be Good: A Novel - Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Noble Intentions - Katie MacAlister

After reading Julia London's The Bridesmaid I am on the look out for other Madcap Romances. These Romantic Comedies are the book form of the screwball romance made famous in film. In these love stories, the plot and people are  impulsive, reckless, or lively in a fun sort of way. Something is always happening. Things go a bit over the top.

I would love your comments or votes. The Goodreads List is: Madcap Romance, if you want your recommendation to compete for best of the best.

Hearts Enslaved
Hearts Enslaved (Lovegram historical romances) - Judith Hill

Review to come.

EDIT: I know this review is really late. I'm trying to remember the story enough to snark it. The fact that I can't, says how boring this book is. PLEASE take my copious gifs of Naya as a peace offering. LOL

The cover cracks me up, look at that man's arms and chest. It's so massive. It cracks me up.

The chick on the cover is pretty sexy. Rawr.

Oh, Naya....

To sum up the book: There was rape, capturing Roman soldiers and make them their slaves, political intrigue (which was actually boring), and the roman slave (male) to a female mistress (not as kinky as one would think/hope). I can't even remember the sexy times.

Preach it, Naya!

I promise not to take this long to review romances again.

Maracas!

Homeward Hearts (Topaz Historical Romances)
Homeward Hearts (Topaz Historical Romanc... Homeward Hearts (Topaz Historical Romances) - Alexis Harrington 3.5 Stars.

Has angst, tension and very likeable H/h. Plot is fairly predictable and certainly doesn't break any new ground in the western historical genre but it was still a solid, enjoyable read. I am a sucker for romances where H or h has to nurse the other back to health and also where daily survival is tough.

The plot gets a liitle muddled toward the end and I may or may not have skipped numerous pages to get to the Happily Ever After.
