Not Bad At All
The Search - Iris Johansen

3.7
Best part-Loved the dog rescue and how attentive the owner handler was.
Worst part-The dog handlers choices didn't always follow her talk.
Over all I enjoyed this suspense read. I am a sucker for a book with a dog, got me right there. Then they toped it with a really nasty villain, and sexy alpha man and an equally alpha woman. I was left guessing till the end, which is always nice.
I will go back and read the first 2 books in this series before moving on more.

I love the dog human connection, and the MC is not a whinny needy woman but a real independent one. Woot Woot I admit I may have been wrong about this author but that one book was sooo stinky

I said I'd never read anything else from this author after No Easy Target but I had bought this years ago in a garage sale and i'm cleaning house of dusty so here we go, again. I hope I will not be sorry

Awesome Suspense!
Mind Game - Iris Johansen Mind Game - Iris Johansen

Mind Game by Iris Johansen is a fantastic read.  Ms Johansen has delivered a well-written book.  I'm a fan of Irish Johansen of long standing, but I admit I got burned out on Eve Duncan and stopped reading this series about 13 books into it.  Reading this book reminded me of how much I enjoy this author's writing style and I think now I'm ready to go back and pick up where I left off.  The characters in this book are fantastic.  Jane and Seth's story is loaded with suspense, nuggets of humor, a little supernatural woo-woo, drama and just a bit of spice.  I enjoyed reading Mind Game and look forward to catching up on this series.  Mind Game is book 22 of the Eve Duncan Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book that I won from Goodreads.
