Acknowledgments

Funkcjonariusze jeżdżący metrem, korzystający z automatów telefonicznych na ulicy, komputer jako mroczny obiekt pożądania... to tylko smaczki. Przede wszystkim jest nietuzinkowa bohaterka. Nastia Kamieńska. To zdecydowanie jedna z moich ulubionych postaci literackich. Oczywiście standardem jest, by każdy stróż prawa rodem z powieści kryminalnej miał szereg wad, dysfunkcji, powinien być nieco autystyczny społecznie, ale Kamieńska ma w sobie to coś, trudnego do określenia, sprawiającego, że każda kolejna książka, w której analityczka z Pietrowski popisuje się swym kunsztem intelektualnym jest przeze mnie pochłaniania. O ile w wielu przypadkach traktuję zbrodnię jako dodatek do wątków społeczno-obyczajowych, o tyle w przypadku serii o Kamieńskiej intrygi naprawdę wciągają (a jednocześnie nie są naciągane). Nie jest to poziom Harlana Cobena (mojego zdecydowanego faworyta jeśli chodzi o budowanie zawiłych intryg), ale bliski ideałowi.

 

A sama książka? Trzyma poziom serii. Ukradziony sen nie stał się na pewno moją ulubioną książką z Kamieńską w roli głównej, ale w zupełności wystarczył, bo i mój sen został ukradziony - aż do momentu, gdy bateria w tablecie wysiadła, a ja nie miałem sumienia, by iść po ładowarkę i budzić żonę :).
