I loved this little book! After her dear father dies, Precious Ramotswe suddenly has enough money to do whatever she wants and so she decides to open the best (and only) Ladies' Detective Agency in Botswana. Even though starting a business is not easy, slowly the cases start arriving, requiring every ounce of intelligence Ms. Ramotswe possesses.

I loved how the author jumped from one period in time to another, allowing us to know and love the protagonist a little more with every bit of information. Ms. Ramotswe is a strong, smart and beautiful woman who loves her country and its people. Her friend Mr. J.L.B Matekoni is also an adorable and faithful character you just can't help loving. I will definitely continue with this series! Four stars!
