Where do I begin? Maybe with the fact that reading is my addiction. This story provided something way above a book buzz. This is the kind of book you dream of reaching for when you know there has got to be something good to read in the enormous TBR stash we all suffer.

I've just finished listening to the audible versions of the the first two books in the Dark Duet series.  Both are narrated by Emily Durante, who presented a convincing portrayal of the characters.  Neither book is for the faint of heart!

Mox and Eva make an interesting couple.  Eva's easy to love and she turns out to be a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately Rocco, a cruel underworld boss, without a caring bone in his body, wants his toy back and when he does there's a good chance he plans to break her all over again.  He’s a poor excuse for a man and he will stop at nothing to 'save face' and get her back.

Eva finds love like nothing she has ever dreamed of with the trinity falls MC.  Instantly accepted, it just up to her to accept their love and support.

I've heard a lot about Joey Hill and this is my first book that I've read of hers. 

Savannah is a woman that is in control, has been raised to be in control and never let's down her guard or allow her social life to cross over to her professional life.  She thinks it all through, uses every tactic available to her to direct her company in a beneficial way.  Her colleagues fear and respect her. Unbeknown to Savannah, her board wants to help her and have put plans in place to break their Ice Queen's resolve. 

Surviving Raine is not what I expected from the blurb, it was so much better than I anticipated!
