"Claiming Noah" 'by Amanda Ortlepp

My Thoughts...

First of all I would like to say 'Thank you to NetGalley for providing me an exchange of this book for an honest review.' I will say this was quite a hard read and even though it looks like everything did turn out OK it was still a difficult emotional read for me that dealt with what can happen with embryo donation. This story will involve: 'post natal depression, fertility issues including IVF, embryo adoption, religious issues, with ethical legal and oral issues, death, suicide thoughts, that will be a issue to all of the one's involved.' See, we have two families that will be using this IVF and wow what will happen from the aftermath of their choices they make. Be ready for many 'manipulation, twist and turns, secrets and lies' that will have you shaking your head and say REALLY...I definitely didn't see that coming!

What we have are two women who will be connected by an embryo, Be ready for some interesting characters [Catriona, James, Diana & Liam] to name a few that will keep you turning the pages till the end. I found it all quite interesting read how this author was able to merge these two couples together with each having their own set of problems. I also loved how this author was able to bring out what a person can go through when suffering through post-partum psychosis.

I don't want to tell too much of this well written and intriguing plot with an exceptional epilogue other than saying please pick up the read and see for yourself how well this novel has been presented to see who will get Noah in the end. I would definitely recommend "Claiming Noah" to you as a good read.

Breaking Noah
Breaking Noah - Missy Johnson,Ashley Suzanne

Book Description....

"What happens when you start falling for your worst enemy? Fans of Abbi Glines and Monica Murphy will relish this addictive novel of smoking-hot seduction—and revenge gone so wrong, it’s right.

I wasn't always this jaded. I had a clear head, things I wanted out of life, and a concise plan on how to get there. For being only twenty-one, I pretty much had it all figured out. Until the day my cousin died.

I spent months going over all the details surrounding her death, trying to figure out how I missed the signs, and the only thing I could come up with was she would still be alive if it wasn't for one person: her professor. So I transferred to his college, enrolled in his class, and set my new plan in motion.

First I’ll seduce him. Then I’ll ruin him. I’ve just got to stay strong and not let his charm and my emotions get the best of me. Because someone has to pay for her death. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to break Noah.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title."

What I liked from the read....

I must say I indeed enjoyed this read. The authors really know to to keep your attention turning the pages until the very end. How these two authors came up with such a amazing story of a person who would go to extreme measures to seduce a teacher for revenge and what happens when the truth comes to light. What was very interesting about this was all of this information that was put into play came from a letter that was left after a death. Will this heroine fall prey to the one that she thinks is responsible for the death? I thought that the plot was well administrated to the reader. However, I was not too surprise with the outcome because I had guessed early on in the read who the person was that was really behind it all but still this was a well written good read. I thought the authors did a wonderful job giving the reader some well developed, defined, well portrayed and believable characters that did carry the reader on a emotional dramatic journey till the very end. I will say I loved how these authors gave the reader a 'the end' of a read and I would definitely recommend this book to any reader who is looking for a good sexy enjoyable read.

Book Review
Noah Zarc: Mammoth Trouble - D. Robert Pease

Where was this book when I was a kid when I just never could wrap my imagination around the Sci-Fi genre? Be prepared for both boys and girls, and yourself, to easily be captured and taken deep into the Fantasy and Sci-Fi genre and never want to look back. Author D. Robert Pease is the Orson Scott Card of juvenile Sci-Fi and those reader’s who fell in love with Ender’s Game and his story will undeniably be hooked on the many adventures of Noah Zarc.

50 Tentacles of Unspeakable Hue by Noah Berlatsky
50 Tentacles of Unspeakable Hue - Noah Berlatsky

A 50 Shades/Cthulhu mash-up. You can read it here for free.

I can't stop laughing at the cover.

“Hello, Miss Irons,” he said, his voice cultured and bristling manfully with manliness.

“Hello,” I said vaguely. Everything tilted, and I pitched forward helplessly. Two of the three grapes I had eaten for lunch came rushing up, and out.

He had caught me. His eyes smouldered into mine. An ironic smile played over his lips. His mouth opened enticingly.

“You vomited on my jacket,” he said, wittily.

“I know,” I volleyed back.

“It takes a strong woman to have the courage to vomit on the jacket of a man as quietly powerful as I am,” he volleyed back back.

It's a quick, silly read. Not really for actual fans of Cthulhu erotica or tentacle porn (yes, they're a real thing), but it's good for a few laughs. I wouldn't have paid to read it, but it was worth the few minutes it took to read it for free.
