Very little I can say about this save I've attempted to read this series four times...and have never made it half-way through the first book. I've never been able to pinpoint the exact reasons why I am so completely not interested in this series, but I very rarely don't finish a book I've started, so this stands out as a pretty big outlier.

Ehhh. As you can see, I finished this long ago and am only now getting around to reviewing it. The sad thing is...I WANT TO LIKE THIS BOOK! This is the book everyone should read, particularly now. Except that it sucks.

*The "Gush"*
This will be short. I never got into this story. I tried.
I can't do my regular review as I have attempted (with some success) to delete this book from my mind. What I do remember was disappointment, mediocre (at best) writing, and a pitiful mystery. As one incarnation of Sherlock Holmes says: "Bored, Bored, BORED!" I got rid of it practically as soon as I finished reading it.
