4 Star Honor
SEAL's Honor - Megan Crane

His old friend’s sister is all grown up and smack of a dangerous murder investigation and while the last thing Blue Hendricks needs is trouble, he didn’t become a SEAL to turn his back on the hard stuff. Her murdered roommate’s body has vanished and Everly Campbell fears she’s next. Desperate, she runs to a remote Alaskan town to find a man she only vaguely remembers. Blue wants to keep things all business, but as the men on Everly’s tail draw closer, Blue will do anything to protect the woman he’s starting to think of as his…

The first book in the ‘Alaska Force’ series is an engaging and suspenseful read that draws readers in and refuses to let go. The strong, compelling characters are easily connected to and readers can’t help but enjoy the gruff Navy SEAL Blue Hendricks that tries his best to keep his distance from the spunky Everly. The chemistry is positively electrical and the emotions are wrenchingly gripping as this couple try to determine just what happened to Everly’s roommate. However, the relationship has a bit of an obstacle in regards to Blue’s past and the angst that stems from it, keeping the happily ever after in question throughout.

The whole group of military men in a remote Alaska wilderness captures readers’ imaginations and sends hearts pounding from the very beginning as the author sets up a smorgasbord of temptation for books in this series. In this one, the plot is steady paced and full of suspense that keeps the anticipation building and as the danger escalates so does the adrenaline pumping excitement. And with a couple of stunning twists, throws everything the reader thought completely out the door in this fascinating and exhilarating romance.

Romance with a twist
SEAL'd Honor (Brotherhood of SEAL'd Hearts) - Gabi Moore

A Navy Seal with secrets and a retired journalist - what can possibly go wrong? Or maybe the question is what can possibly go right?

In a time when you can't open a newsletter or browse a book website without seeing a multitude of Navy Seal romances, I'll admit to becoming a bit tired of the same old story. Then we have Gabi Moore, who gives us the sexy Navy Seal along with a bit of darkness, some suspense and intrigue, and steamy times that are nothing short of scorching hot. Kay and Jack are both a bit jaded by life and circumstances. They've suffered loss and betrayal, so it's not easy for either of them to trust. When Jack begins to reveal a secret that proves dangerous to anyone who knows it, possible betrayal may be the least of their worries.

Wonderfully written and utterly riveting, this newest addition to the Brotherhood of SEAL'd Hearts series is romance with a twist and impossible to put down.

Call to Honor: Night Maneuvers Bonus (A SEAL Brotherhood Novel)
Call to Honor: Night Maneuvers Bonus (A SEAL Brotherhood Novel) - Tawny Weber ARC Review: Call to Honor (A Seal Brotherhood) by Tawny Weber

Never slow down. That mantra is the perfect tagline for both author and characters. Ms. Weber holds nothing back with her alpha heroes and the danger in the plot, she adds more fuel to the fire with her equally strong willed heroines. With Call to Honor, she threw me at first. For a man like Diego who struggles with powerful emotions and dangerous enemies, Harper did seem like she fit him. However, as the blinders come off and the secrets start to explode we see a fierce attraction blossom and Tawny Weber at her best. Suspense is the name of the game with this mysterious couple.

SEAL's Honor
SEAL's Honor (Take No Prisoners) (Volume 1) - Elle James

Reed Tucker and his SEAL team are stationed in Afghanistan and work with helicopter pilot Delaney O'Connell. Tucker and Delaney work well together and get to know each other quite well. Tuck doesn't have relationships because of his career and parents (who have been married several times). After Delaney lost her fiance she sworn to never again get involved with anyone in the military. Since neither wanted a relationship, a one-night-stand worked for both of them. Until they started to have feelings for each other.

Things got complicated when Tucker's best friend, Reaper, decided Delaney was perfect for him and asked her to marry him. She said no but he kept asking until she finally agreed.

This was a good story with exciting missions the SEAL's went on. There was a lot of conflicting emotions between the three main characters that kept me wishing Tucker and Delaney would just speak up. Reaper didn't know that Tucker and Delaney had been together because didn't know how to tell him.

This story starts with Tucker going into the church to attend Reaper and Delaney's wedding so I was frustrated while reading it feeling like I knew the ending at the beginning. So that I don't give anything away I'll just say there were lots of twists to this story.
