REVIEW

This book picks up where book one left us. Natasha is learning so much more about what she is and what she is capable of. However, something has happened to her and she and Jesse are off to repair the situation. Chace is not happy about what has taken place and he is determined to win back his life mate. It will take love to help Chace however does Natasha feel that strongly?

This book was really good and it gives us much more knowledge about what Natasha is and who is out to hurt her. The author gives us a lot of story and action. There is a cliffhanger.
I would suggest you start with book one.

I was gifted this book for my honest review.

REVIEW
New to me author.

The story begins with a set of twins named Natasha and Sean. After a car accident, Sean just up and disappears after some weird fire stuff.
As the story continues, Natasha's family moves into her grandmothers home in another state. This is her last year of high school and now it is in a new place making new friends.

Natasha is rather freaked to learn a few of those friends know exactly what is happening and as she begins to learn, she knows one thing. It is freaky.

Natasha does not know who to trust but in the end she places her trust on the one who captured her attention in the beginning.

The ending leaves us with a cliffhanger, The story is well written although it does not give us much back story. I found myself confused in many areas of the story like I was not getting enough but overall it was a fascinating read.

I was gifted this book for my honest review.

Review: Unresisting by Shane Morgan
Unresisting - Shane Morgan
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

I have read a couple of Ms. Morgan's new adult contemporary novels and enjoyed them, so I was very excited for a chance to read Unresisting. I have to say, I wasn't disappointed. The novel starts off with a bang (well, a crash) that is rather heart-wrenching, before we settle into the story and get to know main character Nat.

Nat lost her twin brother in a car crash right at the beginning of the book. He wasn't dead but gone, disappeared in a ball of fire. Not only that, but fire burned from Nat's hands right before the accident. She was confused, her parents thought she was delusional due to her brother's disappearance/death. I liked Nat, she was a touch sarcastic internally which I enjoyed. She also was quite accepting of people and their flaws which I found refreshing. Nat was on a quest to discover what happened to her, and Chace seemed to have some answers she desperately needed.

Chace had that whole loner, dark and brooding male thing going for him... but more on the creepy side rather than sexy. The way he acted when he first met Nat was, hmm, strange-- yes, let's go with strange. In fact the two of them together are the poster children for strange. I liked it, made the story more entertaining. As it turned out they were just so into each other it made for some very awkward scenes. Then there was the third in this love triangle, Jesse, who I started out disliking but warmed up to as the story progressed. I'm not much for love triangles though, so I'm going to stop there.

Unresisting is quite fast-paced and interesting. The plot was different from other paranormals, including Nat's abilities-- I found the whole thing rather intriguing. The mystery and twisting story kept me turning the pages. The ending was a tad unexpected which was good. It will definitely make the reader crave the next book in the series.
