Right here
Right in Front of You: A Friends to Lovers Contemporary Romance - Lacey Silks

Friends To Lovers series continues with another epic love story about best friends who must go through the fire to find what burns in their hearts.  A truly impressive story about love, loss, and strength.

The gang is back in this second installment about pain, growth, and real friendship.  Carter, Molly, and the rest teach us what love is all about.  This book being Carter & Molly's story.

Molly has always wanted to be a doctor.  Carter only wishes to be a fireman.  When tragedy strikes, can the future still be clear?

Sweet and sad tale of five friends and how life changes them as they grow.  I loved that characters, the friendships, and the sexy.  There is a solid mystery to solve as well.  I was truly enchanted.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Bossy Request
Bossy Request - Lacey Silks Reality in Each Fantasy, Book 1 I Picked Up This Book Because: Wanted a quick read for my down time at work. The Characters: Sharon: Frank: The Story: I think this book could have benefited from being a page or two longer (reported as being 22 pages there are only 13 pages of story). I get that the tension was supposed to be a buildup 5 years in the making but it still seemed rushed. The characters timelines didn’t really make any sense. He was a super mature 30 year old and she’s been working for him since she was 20? Or at least that is what I was lead to believe. One spilled coffee takes him from “hands off” to I just want to touch you and the job be damned? I just couldn’t fall for it. The Random Thoughts: The fact that I forgot I was reading this speaks volumes to my enjoyment level. The Score Card: description 2 Stars

A solid start with a strong appeal for Sherlock Holmes fans
A Study in Silks - Emma Jane Holloway

This, the first book of the Baskerville Affair, is a solid start to a trilogy that will appeal strongly to any who count themselves fans of Sherlock Holmes, so long as they don't mind a bit of magic alongside their mayhem.

While it wasn't a perfect book, with a complex and sometimes difficult-to-follow plot floating between multiple characters' points of view, I did find it highly intriguing and have to wonder if I read the same book as those who claim nobody cared about the murder 200 pages in. I also normally abhor love triangles, but again I wonder if I read the same book as those who said that the love triangle was the sole focus of the book.

It really, truly was not. The complex murder case and the intrigues going on below the surface were what grabbed my attention as being the focus of the book, which was, I believe, much the purpose of the book. All that said, I personally really enjoyed this book and am glad I have the other two books in the series to read. I'll be hard-pressed to resist jumping into A Study in Darkness right away.

Epic love
Yours and Mine: A Contemporary Friends to Lovers Romance (Friends with Benefits) - Lacey Silks,Lucy Riot

Nick and Joelle grow up together living right next door.  Close enough, that everyone in their hometown thinks they will end up together.  While that is certainly becoming a possibility, why is it assumed?

Joelle AKA Jo is only certain of one thing.  Her love for Nick.  It changes her, and almost kills her too.  Together, they make an amazing couple.  Too bad they have to find a way to live apart.

Certainly an interesting story with surprise after surprise inside!  The characters are honest, and truly devoted with a love that only builds over a lifetime.  I found this to be epic, perhaps even be a movie someday.  I would pay to see that.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Short read
Perfectly Equipped - Lacey Silks

Perfectly Equipped is my first read by Lacey Silks.  Perfectly Equipped is a short read, a good choice for those with limited time for reading.  Sean and April's story takes place at a nudist resort that April's friend Millie booked them for vacation, so there was plenty of humor.  Perfectly Equipped is well written with lovable characters and a bit of sizzle.  I enjoyed this book but would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't a cliff-hanger.  Not a fan of cliff-hangers.  I would be willing to read more from Lacey Silks in the future, but I'll make sure it's not a cliff-hanger first.
