Definetly A Sweet Delight!
Dating in the Dark - Tracey Rogers

I loved this book. The cover drew me in. From the moment I saw the author post this cover, I wanted to read it--even though I hadn't read the blurb. You see...you can judge a book by it's cover. :)

This was one of those books, once I sat down to read it, I couldn't stop. I would've read it through in one sitting had life not interrupted me.

Sophie and Damien find they are attracted to each other before they even meet. Their relationships spark over a phone conversation at Damien's sister's bakery. Damien isn't looking to date after an accident that made him look guilty to the media, as well as a scar across his face. However, he takes a chance with Sophie. Then begins a number of dates set in the dark.

Being an author myself, this concept of dating in the dark brought all kinds of story ideas to my already packed brain. I think Ms. Rogers is onto something fun in the world of dating. Perhaps she'll explore more dates in the dark in future stories.

This is the first book in a new series from Tracey Rogers. I'm thrilled for her to write more. She introduced some characters - mainly Vanessa who has something going on in the background of this book. I'm super curious what it is.

I recommend this book!

'Employee of the Month' is a sensuous, romantic story. Holly is a courageous, independent heroine. Max is a sexy, tortured hero and there is fantastic heat generated whenever they are within touching distance. The beautifully written sensual love scenes give important insight into the intensity of Holly and Max's physical attraction and their deep emotional connection.

The believable, uncomplicated plot with enough twists and dark moments to hold the reader's interest makes this a fabulous read. I liked the setting for this story and the echoes of the couple's past that resurface through the small cast of secondary characters.

Holly and Max are 'no strings' lovers. Neither wants commitment, until a life changing event makes them focus on what they really desire from each other and their future. There are lots of humorous and poignant moments. Are they prepared to take the risks and make the sacrifices necessary to find their happy ever after?

'Employee of the Month' is a tale of light hearted romance and angst. The characters are easy to empathise with. This is an absorbing page turning read.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

Best Fake Day
Best Fake Day - Tracey Rogers This is a sweet read, no big surprises, but still one of my favorite romantic themes!! It is the kind of romance that will leave you with warm fuzzies.

I loved Izzy, she is a delightful character that wins you over from the start. Jack is a harder sell, but once you get past that gruff shell, he is warm and gushy inside!! They have a great dynamic and you can not help but giggle throughout the story!!

Steam is light, ok, no smexy details at all, sigh, it is ok, sometimes you need a sweet romance instead of a steamy bang.

I am definitely going to be looking for more from Ms. Rogers, I enjoyed her storytelling and the beautiful tale she wove!

Disclosure - I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.

Tracey Rogers' latest release Best Fake Day is another 5* read with humorous dialogue and sizzling sex there is nothing fake about the readability of this tender love story.

Izzy Latham is the lynchpin of her once 'perfect' family. She has put aside her own happiness to help her talented but highly strung sister and grieving father. When Jack crashes back into her life she wonders if he has come back for her but he hasn't.

Talked into a 'fake' wedding, despite her inherent honesty, to repay her sister's debt Izzy finds her chance of a happy ever after drifting away. Izzy is likeable and easy to empathise with as she realises honesty is a grey area when your happiness is at a stake.

Jack Carter's life appears idyllic a successful model turned entrepreneur he has his pick of beautiful woman but his glitzy life masks the pain and resentment of a difficult childhood. He knows he is bad news for Izzy but she is only one who can help him and he can't resist the burn of the electricity that sparks between them even if it's only once. Their fake day reveals deep emotions and unveils secrets that force him to reconsider his life plan.

Best Fake Day is an enjoyable read with a heart rendering twist you don't expect.
