Cute story. Jane is a mistake waiting to happen when it comes to dating. Eric is a fellow attorney who works at her family's law firm. She has him set her up for dates then debriefs with him. She is funny as she tells her stories. Both are attracted to the other but because of the non-fraternization clause in their contracts they cannot act upon the attraction. Chaos ensues as Jane continues her dates. They are a cute couple. Jane's dream job is not the law nor is it beyond her reach. Her family should have supported her youthful dreams. Jane's dating stories are funny. The ending was different. I am surprised that Eric did not lose out on Jane. I look forward to more in this series.

3.5 Stars!! Very cute, but not as steamy as I typically like.

I was so excited when I picked up this book. A hot veterinarian, a fiesty office manager, and interaction with cute animals; how could I not enjoy this.Once again, Jill Shalvis worked her magic. This is the first book of hers that I have read that did not take place in Lucky Harbor and I have to admit, I may need a vacation home in Sunshine, Idaho. Especially if all of the male residents are like Dell Connelly. The sexual tension and chemistry between Dell and Jade was amazing and I found that the attraction they had for one another was completely believable. And I won't deny that Dell and Gertie made me swoon; nothing better than a guy who loves his dog!

it all started with an intense fear, a slutty man, and one adorable cat maned Beans.Jade was damaged from a robbery at her work place. She ran to Idaho and took a job at a small veterinary hospital where she meets Mr. Sexual free ride to all the local woman. He a good looking man and a doctor who knows how to give and leave. They work together in relative friendship never going deeper. There was sexual desire, sure but she wasn't going there with Mr leaves them all. Everything is going fairly well till one kiss stirs up something a little more and draws them closer but not in that way. He tries to help her and she tries to shoe how strong she is. They ramble through all kinds of animals, people, spreadsheets and emotional battles. Don't worry there is a HEA.I was looking for a light fun romantic read and this fit perfectly. It hit all the required points for fun romance.1- I enjoyed the story, yes it had an actual plot, it went at a nice pace and was believable.2- There were animals, can't lose there, especially Beans the cat, adorable. 3-The lead man is a emotionally scarred veterinarian, yep that's always a hit. 4-The lead woman was also a scarred individual with some OCD issues and yet was strong.5-Great sex, yep they got it going nice and hot.I am going to read the first book in the series now.

Loved this one -- so much so that I may go back and reread the 1st in the series because obviously I did it wrong the first time.
