Book Blitz: Going All In by Thomas Briar with Giveaway
Going All In
Thomas Briar

Publication date: January 15th 2019
Genres: Erotica, Romance

Young, beautiful, and college educated, Lena hides startling secrets. Secrets that set her apart from everyone else and make it almost impossible for her to find true love.

Slightly older than Lena, Trevor’s a handsome and dominant man. The kind with a successful career, a residence of his own, and a secure future. But he’s keeping startling secrets as well.

On their very first date, they’ll bare their souls to each other, indulge in sizzling hot sex, and make an unbreakable emotional connection.

But great sex alone can’t lead two lovers to their very own happily ever after. Can it?

EXCERPT:

Lena thought it time to spill the despicable secret. Her lips parted, but no words came out as fear clutched her heart. She winced at her cowardice.

“What is it?” Trevor asked, features turning sympathetic. “You can tell me, whatever it is.”

“I don’t know how.” She forced a smile.

“Just say it.”

“I was thinking I like you. A lot.” She sighed, nervously fluffing her long blonde hair. “And I don’t want to scare you off.”

“How would you scare me off?” His stare became intense, gaze never wavering from her face.

She took a deep breath, bolstering courage. “I’m not normal. Not like everyone else.”

His grin was filled with indulgence, making him more handsome than before. “If I wanted normal, I would have asked normal out. Instead, I asked you.”

“But you don’t really know me. I’m different.”

“I’m different too, if you haven’t noticed?”

She had. All throughout dinner and dessert, he’d not looked at any other woman in the room, not even the waitress when ordering. His mesmerizing gaze had remained on her.

“I need certain things. Things normal women don’t want.” She looked down at her hands in her lap, not believing she was going all in this soon.

“Tell me,” he insisted. “I won’t judge. Whatever it is.”

Author Bio:

Edgy and provocative in his erotic writings, Thomas Briar strives to exalt the virtues of love and lust in every story he creates. To date, he's written a wide variety in the subgenres of New Adult, Contemporary, Historical, Interracial, and BDSM. He also takes great pride in the fact that he writes the type of erotic stories that twist and turn as the hero and heroine strive wholeheartedly to get exactly what they want from each other.

Which means most of his stories run on the hotter side of the erotica genre with his characters indulging in the type of sex that some would call smutty. For, without a doubt, writing scorching hot sex scenes is Thomas' absolute favorite thing about writing erotica. Well, that, and making sure his characters end up living happily ever after.

My Thoughts....

What a beautiful Christmas story that features Kara Hastings and Nate Griffin. Well it seems like Kara is the last sister that is not engaged since now her sister Molly has come home saying she is getting married to Todd. What was up with that since it seems that a year ago they had broken up.
Oh well! Now we have Nate who has come to Briar Creek to be with is aunt during this Christmas holiday but he wasn't to happy being there. Now, why was that? After Kara and Nate meet due to bumping into each other will they be able to form a friendship that could possibly lead to a HEA? This was a very good story of how each one of these two people will have something that they need to 'prove,' This story was so edifying as we see how hard Kara worked in her bakery when all she wanted was to prove to not only to herself but to others that she could stick with 'running her own bakery.' Nate had such a horrible childhood being bullied and with all that had happened in his family's hardship he simply did not want any form of life where he would be poor, so he only had one goal in mind and that was always found working so that he would never have to suffer like his parents had done while raising him. Even with all of that Nate had not really celebrated Christmas holidays like forever. So, when he arrives and his aunt is so excited wanting to win this contest that will involve his help and since its only him there since he had sent his parents on a cruise...Nate was left with no choice but to help her out with this contest because she wanted to win. But then the tables will turn because after talking to Kara he even gets her involved in this Christmas contest. Now, how will that involve him? To find out you will just have to pick up the good series to see for yourself how well this author will bring it all out to the readers. The characters will involve quite a few family members[many from past series] that will make this read so well developed, portrayed and believable giving the reader quite a interesting Christmas read where one may even like to visit this place called Briar Creek. This novel is the fifth in this series and I am not sure if is this is the last but this one was truly one amazing sweet heart-warming romantic reads.

Thank you to NOR for giving me this read for my honest opinion.

"Mistletoe on Main Street" by Olivia Miles

Book Description...

"Sleigh bells, snow, and second chances . . .

Briar Creek's quaint shop windows, cozy homes nestled in snow, and neighborly residents are what Christmas dreams are made of--for everyone except Grace Madison. She left her hometown years ago to pursue a writing career. But when her father's death leaves his bookstore empty, Grace must return to face why she fled Vermont in the first place: Luke Hastings, who still heats her up like a shot of smoky whiskey on a cold winter's night.

Grace is back, and Luke is worried. How much has she changed as a bestselling author in the big city? What memories will she stir up? And was the choice he made five years ago the biggest mistake of his life?

Now, with their past, present, and future rocking around the Christmas tree, it's time for Grace and Luke to face the music . . . and the mistletoe."

What I liked from this novel.....

This author really gives the reader quite a interesting place in 'Briar Creek' and definitely a good Christmas read that will keep your attention from start to the finish. The two main characters Grace and Luke will keep you entertained as they find their way through his love story. It seems like Grace after being gone five years is trying to make up her mind will she stay in Briar Creek after this Christmas holiday with her family or return to NY? Did she even have anyone waiting for her back in New York after she had dropped Derek? Then there is her father's book store that is not opened any more. What had happened after her father's death to the book store and why wasn't see told about it being closed. I found this love story was about Grace and Luke. What had happened to cause her to want to leave Briar Creek five years ago in the first place and what happened when she came back (seeing only Luke)...leaves again...then back for her father's funeral... leaves.....now back again for this Christmas holiday? In all of Grace's coming and going would she stay this time and run the book store that seems to have closed and just what all did Luke Hastings have to do in all of this? Between these two there will be a lots of drama going on. I don't want to leave out Grace's sister Jane who also seemed to have quite a bit of drama going on in her life and their mother Kathleen. I don't want to spoil it by telling too much of the story. I know I have presented a lots of questions and all of the answers will be answered in this well written novel: "Mistletoe on Main Street." I found this author really worked it with such a beautiful description of the snow during Christmas holiday season of Briar Creek really making me what to find this beautiful place with such unique characters which I found were richly developed that seemed to come alive on the pages presented as Ray, Mark, Sophie, Anna and Rosemary Hastings to name a few. Be prepared for a long read because this author leaves nothing out even a little hot sex scene.

What I also liked about this novel....

I liked how this author was able to give us a story that showed a lots of emotions along with the drama of a real love story showing the past and the present of how it is from one reaction can bring on another reaction. In the end will it be a good decision for all involved at this point in their life's? I thought this was a very interesting read and I really enjoyed how this author closes the story.
